Can groups do informational tabling at the Library?

Answer

Yes. Local and state government agencies, local groups, and nonprofits can table at Library locations where space allows. Commercial, political, or fundraising activity is prohibited and all groups must follow New Orleans Public Library's Code of Conduct. Informational tables are approved as space allows.

All tabling events must be organized and approved in advance with the Library. To table with the Library, please complete our Library Visits and Outreach Form. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability of tabling space or the date and time requested. Due to numerous requests for informational tables, the Library may limit the frequency with which an agency may use the space.
